Accommodation and Hotel Reservation Hotel rooms in various categories have been reserved for the participants. On-site If you have questions about your hotel reservation, or wish to make a new booking, please refer to the Administrative Secretariat at the congress venue. On-line booking Participants can book the hotel room via internet together with their on-line registration. For information such as rates, hotels as well as for reservation please refer to this congress website. Please note that hotel accommodation is subject to availability and is limited after July 27, 2006. Reservation Form If you have no access to the Internet, please send the hotel reservation form by July 27, 2006 to the Conference Travel Agency in Basel. Payment Policy For reservations via internet full credit card payment is required. After successful reservation you will receive a written confirmation by regular mail. When checking out, all extras (mini-bar, telephone charges, room service, etc.) must be settled with the hotel directly. Cancellation Policy If your hotel reservation is cancelled before July 27, 2006, the amount will be refunded less € 40 handling fee. If your reservation is cancelled after July 27, 2006, or if you arrive later or leave earlier than on the dates indicated on your reservation form, the total accommodation amount will be charged and no refunds can be made. Changes Any change of reservation will be subject to a handling fee of € 20. Changes or cancellations have to be made in writing to AKM Travel AG, Basel and cannot be made via internet. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Arriving by plane Zurich Airport offers flights to 83 destinations within Europe and 44 destinations on other continents. The airport railway station is directly connected to the airport terminal building with direct train connections to Zurich every 10 minutes (CHF 9.60* first class, CHF 5.80* second class, one way). Taxi fare from Zurich Airport to the city centre is CHF 50. From the city centre, all major hotels can conveniently be reached. The congress venue University Zurich-Irchel can be reached from the main railway station by tram number 10 or 14. For further information please visit www.zurich-airport.com CHF 9.60 are approx. Arriving by train The Zurich main railway station lies in the heart of the city and offers connections to many destinations within Europe. From the main railway station all major hotels and the congress venue can be reached within 15 minutes drive by public transport (see also below). For further information about the Swiss Railway and for timetables please visit www.sbb.ch Please note that with your conference badge, you will have free access to the public transportation within the city of Zurich. The transportation pass (=conference badge) is valid from Thursday, August 24 to Saturday, August 26, 2006.

Car parking There is a parking at the university Zurich-Irchel offering up to 500 covered parking lots. The price is 1 CHF / hour.

Public Transport With your conference badge, you will have free access to the public transportation within the city of Zurich. The transportation pass (=conference badge) is valid from Thursday, August 24 to Saturday, August 26, 2006. Zurich has a well working net of public transport (Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich VBZ). You may take any of the following trams to get from the Zurich Main Station to Irchel University: * Number 10 (destination "Milchbuck" or "Bahnhof Oerlikon") to Irchel * Number 14 (destination "Seebach") to Milchbuck. * Number 7 (destination "Bahnhof Stettbach") to Milchbuck. From the city centre (stop “Bellevue/Stadelhofen Station”) the tram number 9 also takes you to Irchel University. For further information please visit www.vbz.ch
